The Society of Bookbinders North East is a small but enthusiastic group, drawing members from several counties.  Its usual meeting place is the Literary & Philosophical Society of Newcastle upon Tyne at 23 Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1SE.

Usually known as the Lit & Phil, the library has its own bindery and hosts a variety of events.  It’s is an independent library, right in the middle of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The North East Region group supports events around this diverse part of England, from its home in Newcastle to the ancient sity of York, to Leeds and beyond.
