The North Wales and North West Region are now taking bookings for their online workshop on Saturday 30 January 2027 with Western Region’s Nesta Davies, creating her Star Book structure.

About the workshop

Enjoy the day folding, trimming, sewing and glueing paper to create this delightful Star Book with stiff boards and ribbon tie. Beautifully flexible, it’s also robust enough to use as a photo album or artist’s book, with created content on its seven openings.

Materials

A full materials pack will be posted out in advance, but Nesta comments that you are welcome to use your own coloured linen thread, ribbon, and decorative and/or coloured papers.

Cost

  • Workshop: £30 (all NW2 one-day workshops continue to be £30 in 2027)
  • Materials and postage: £20

Live or recorded

Numbers on the day are limited to 12. All sessions will be recorded, and the recording will be available for the following four weeks to those who have paid. The price is the same for both modes.
