Workshop description:
This course is a great introduction to gold-tooling on leather and the creative use of the medium. Learn how to gold tool on a leather-covered sample board with simple shaped hand finishing tools, using BS Glaire and loose gold leaf. This course will give you the opportunity to develop a practical grounding in the processes and techniques specific to tooling with gold leaf on leather, which in turn will open up the creative potential of the medium. If you have experience in gold tooling, this course is a good opportunity to build on/refresh and consolidate your knowledge and techniques. (suitable for all levels)
