September 16 - September 17
Conservation housing and enclosures are an essential weapon in the preservation armoury. This two-day course will cover various types of conservation enclosures, such as phase wrappers and their variations, archival book shoes and fascicules. Participants will make each housing option, learn about the manufacture of the structures themselves and be able to make informed choices about when to use them.
Weekend workshop fees are £185 for DB and SoB members and £205 for non-members. Each has a materials fee payable on the weekend direct to the tutor.
