All bookings for the 2026 Conference must be made by 24 July. Please don't leave it to the last minute.

The closing date for all conference bookings is Friday, 24 July 2026. If you experience any difficulties with your account or payment, please allow time to resolve these before the deadline, as the conference team may not always be able to respond immediately.
The deadline will not be extended. If you have been thinking about attending, now is the time to book. We hope to see as many of you in York as possible.
What to expect
The 2026 conference takes place at York University on 14–16 August. Six speakers will cover a wide range of subjects including design binding, conservation, decorative techniques and innovative structures. The weekend also includes the Trade Fair, the International Binding Competition exhibition, the Conference Dinner, and the AGM.
