The countdown to the Society of Bookbinders Book Arts Day 2026 is officially underway!
Over the coming weeks we will be introducing the talented exhibitors who will be joining us on Saturday 12 September. Keep an eye on the Book Arts Day page, where more information will be added over the coming weeks, and follow @bookartsday on Instagram to discover the artists who will be exhibiting this year.
Book Arts Day is always a fantastic celebration of contemporary book arts, and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors for another inspiring day of handmade books and conversations with makers.
You can also help us make the event a success by spreading the word through your own networks, both online and in person. Whether you share our posts on social media, mention the event on your website or blog, or simply tell friends, colleagues and fellow book enthusiasts, every recommendation helps us reach new audiences.
Can You Help?
Book Arts Day is organised entirely by volunteers, and we would be very grateful for any help on the day. Whether you can spare an hour or a whole shift, your support makes a real difference.
We are looking for volunteers for the following roles:
- 9.00–11.00am: Setting up tables and chairs and preparing the venue
- 11.00am–2.00pm: Welcoming visitors and staffing the Society of Bookbinders information table
- 2.00–5.00pm: Welcoming visitors and staffing the Society of Bookbinders information table
- 5.00–6.00pm: Packing away tables and chairs at the end of the event
If you are able to help with any of these shifts, we would love to hear from you. Please email [email protected].
