Regions  |  Midland

The Midland region was founded in 1985 by a group of binders from Nottingham and Derby, led by David Ackrel. It now has around sixty members drawn from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

The Midland region runs several workshops every year in addition to a varied programme of visiting speakers and demonstrators. The workshops are designed to address basic training needs and to introduce elements of design, finishing and decoration. We also have an annual weekend outing to places of beauty and interest.

Non-members welcome (£3.00 charge for meetings)

If you would like more information about any of these events, contact Dawn Thornton, Midland Region Events Coordinator, Charnwood View, Broad Lane, Markfield, Leics. LE67 9TB.
