    Bound in Harmatan black goatskin with onlays of alum-tawed pigskin and gold tooling. Doublures of black goatskin, which has been blind tooled. The flyleaves are of brown goatskin with black goatskin onlays. The title is tooled in gold down the spine and all edges are rough gilt.
 

Flora studied calligraphy and bookbinding at Roehampton Institute in London before working with Bernard Middleton for twelve years. She is a Fellow of Designer Bookbinders and now runs her own business undertaking restoration and fine binding work to commission.
