MIDLAND REGION
This Region was founded in 1985 by a group of binders from Nottingham and Derby, led by David Ackrel. It now has around 60 members drawn from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
The Region runs several highly successful workshops every year in addition to a varied programme of visiting speakers and demonstrators. The workshops are designed to address basic training needs and to introduce elements of design, finishing and decoration. We also have an annual weekend outing to places of beauty and interest - last year we visited the Pepys Library and saw The Diary!
