The Society of Bookbinders is committed to the provision and furtherance of education in the field of bookbinding.

Our stated aim is to, 'advance education for the public benefit in all aspects of bookbinding, in particular, but not exclusively by, the collection, collation, evaluation and organized dissemination of craft and technical information.'
