Membership of the Society is open to anyone interested in the printed word, be you bookbinder (professional or hobbyist), conservator, librarian, book lover or collector, you will be welcome.

All members receive the Society Journal, BOOKBINDER, National Newsletters and details of meetings in their region.

request a postal membership form to have us post a form to you.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
FULL MEMBER:
annual fee: GBP 36.00  		This will apply to all members except for the following categories.
JOINT MEMBER:
annual fee: GBP 50.00  		For two members living at the same address, both equally eligible to attend and hold office but with only one copy of each newsletter and journal between them.
CORPORATE MEMBER:
annual fee: GBP 75.00  		Any corporate body wishing to belong to, and to support the Society.
AGED 25 & UNDER:
annual fee: GBP 25.00  		As Full Member but benefiting from a reduced subscription rate.
STUDENT MEMBER:
annual fee: GBP 18.00  		Those members attending a full-time course relating to bookbinding.
OVERSEAS MEMBER:
annual fee: GBP 40.00  		Those living outside the UK who wish to join the Society.
HONORARY FELLOW: Honorary Fellowships shall be awarded by the Council to a member considered to have contributed outstanding service to the Society.
HONORARY MEMBER: Honorary Membership shall be ratified by the Council after recommendation by the Region.
